In Canada, Loto-Québec has released its financial report for the nine-month period ending December 29, 2025. The company achieved a revenue of CA$2.3 billion, a 2.6 percent increase from the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Its consolidated net income stood at CA$1.1 billion, a 0.6 percent rise.
The total prize money distributed to lottery winners was CA$1.3 billion. Loto-Québec mentioned that 88 individuals became millionaires since the start of the fiscal year. Lottery games brought in CA$721 million in revenue, whereas casinos and gaming halls generated CA$976.6 million and gaming establishments reported CA$616.4 million.
In December, Loto-Québec disclosed the opening of a fourth gaming hall, which will be situated in Saguenay, on the premises of the Delta Hotel and its convention center.
