In February, Kansas casino revenue climbed 21.2% year-over-year

Revenue of Kansas’ full-scale casinos in February was $35.5 million, a 21.2% year-over-year increase, excluding historical horse racing revenue from Gilley’s Gambling Hall which opened in December.

The figures, released by the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission, indicate that slots contributed $31.3 million to the combined total, a 7.5% increase, while table games rose 19.8% to $4.2 million.

Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway had the highest revenue last year, reporting $14.7 million, up 11%. Slots increased 10.9% to $13.2 million, and table games were up 11.5% to $1.4 million.

Kansas Star Casino had the largest year-over-year revenue growth, rising 11.6% to $13.9 million. Slots were up 8.5% to $11.8 million, and table games were up 33.8% to $2.1 million.

Boot Hill Casino also registered a year-over-year revenue increase in February, up 2.2% to $3.4 million. Slots were up 2.3% at the casino to $3.1 million, and table games remained relatively stable at $274,126.

Kansas Crossing Casino was the only casino with a revenue decrease, dropping 2.1% to $3.6 million. Slots were down 3.1% to $3.2 million, and table games increased 6.1% to $428,776.

The statewide total does not include $30.2 million in unaudited pari-mutuel results from historical horse racing machines at Gilley’s Gambling Hall.
