AlphaTON Capital Acquires Controlling 60% Stake in GAMEE

(AsiaGameHub) –   AlphaTON Capital is strengthening its position in GAMEE by agreeing to purchase a controlling 60% stake in the Animoca Brands subsidiary. This transaction expands upon a previous move from October 2025, when AlphaTON obtained a 51% majority share, granting the firm greater influence over GAMEE’s future trajectory.

AlphaTON Adds More Weight to Its Gaming Push

The terms of the deal extend past the initial consideration. In addition to the upfront combination of cash, equity, and warrants, AlphaTON has made a commitment to purchase GMEE tokens. A potential further sum of up to $7.5 million could be paid out across the next two years, contingent on GAMEE’s operational performance and EBITDA targets.

GAMEE reports a user base of 119 million, with 61 million of those users within the Telegram ecosystem. The company also recorded roughly $3.5 million in revenue for 2025, providing AlphaTON with a substantial audience as it seeks expansion in the blockchain and social gaming sectors.

The acquisition is accompanied by an expanded strategic partnership between AlphaTON and Animoca Brands. Both companies expressed their intent to advance further in blockchain gaming, with Telegram positioned as a core component of this strategy.

Management Stays in Place After the Deal

GAMEE’s existing management team will continue in their roles post-transaction. Founder Bozena Rezab will take on the position of Head of AlphaTON Gaming, while Martin Zakovec and Miroslav Chmelka will remain as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively.
